The ST-3/VLW Adapter with the SensorLink® Volt Litewire enable testing of overhead installation with the ST-3/XT3

The ST-3/VLW Adapter enable the usage of the SensorLink® Volt Litewire adapter to perform a Primary/Secondary Test using the ST-3/XT3 with overhead installations. The accessory is electronically compensated and automatically detected when plugged in. The Primary/Secondary Test is automatically adjusted by the Probewell Connect 2.0 application to reflect the functionality.

The ST-3/VLW adapter lets you connect the SensorLink® Volt Litewire accessory to the Probewell ST-3/XT3 site tester when testing overhead installations. (This accessory only lets you test one phase at a time.)

The ST-3/XT3 Transformer-Rated Site Tester verifies the three phases simultaneously when used with the ST-3/FLEX-CT2500 accessory.

How to run the test using the Probewell Connect 2.0 application.

While testing a transformer, the Probewell Connect 2.0 app will prompt the user to manually switch the amp probe to the next phase until the 3 phases of the CT meter have been tested. (A followed by B then C).

  1. Connect the SensorLink® Volt Litewire BNC cable to the BNC jack on the VLW adapter
  2. Connect the 12-pin connector of the VLW at the other end to the ST-3/XT3‘s PT front port
  3. When powered on, the unit will automatically detect the ST-3/VLW adapter. The Probewell Connect 2.0 app can now proceed with the test (refer to the Probewell Connect 2.0 User Guide for details).
