The Optical Pickup uses edge triggering for less sensitivity to changes.
The Optical Pickup is an IR optical sensor for solid-state meters. It is mounted with a suction cup that detects infrared light pulses generated by solid-state meters. The Optical Pickup, also referred to as a Pulse Pickup uses edge triggering sensing for less sensitivity to changing ambient light conditions.
Designed with the weakest pulses in mind, it can test all solid-state meters in any light condition.
A specific adapter is required for some meters.

Compatibility
All optical probes and adapters are compatible with the NT and WT models.
Mounted with a suction cup, it is easy to install.
There is a red LED that flashes at the back of the suction cup when pulses are being sent by the meter.
