ATK-3 & ATK-4 | Accuracy Testing Kit
Accuracy Testing Kit for calibration of the meter testers in-house
ATK-3 & ATK-4 (Accuracy Testing Kit): To guarantee optimal working conditions, it is strongly advise to calibrate all test equipment at least once a year or as per local regulations.
An available accuracy test kit makes it possible to perform an accuracy validation on a testers in-house. The materials needed for calibrating the units are:
- An isolated power supply, 120V–240V rated at least 150 VA
- A reference standard traceable to NIST with minimum accuracy of 0.05%
- A Probewell accuracy testing kit ATK-3 (for three-phase models)
- A Probewell accuracy testing kit ATK-4 (for single-phase models)
ATK-4 SKU: 9910-0290
ATK-3 SKU: 9910-0285

The accuracy of MT-1/NT4, MT-1/NT5, MT-1/NT9, MT-1/WT1 and MT-1/WT3 meter tester can be checked against a NIST-traceable standard using the following test procedure. The accuracy is tested on up to 17 different current test points at both 1 (0°) and 0.5 lag (60°) power factors in Wh.
Additionally the MT-1/NT9 and MT-1/WT3 does VARh at 30° and 90°. The accuracy test can be performed using a stabilized and isolated AC power source at either 120 or 240 volts.
